ROCKETSHIP is the latest short film from award-winning filmmakers Alfred Thomas Catalfo (writer/director of the Web hits THE NORMAN ROCKWELL CODE and BIGHORN, and winner of 27 major screenwriting competitions) and Glenn Gardner (producer of Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or winner SNIFFER, and BIGHORN).
An unlikely bond is forged between a lonely boy and an elderly man claiming to be a former astronaut. Together, they transform a vintage vacuum cleaner into a rocketship for a surprising journey. The story is inspired by the rocketship sculptures of artist David Random, who fashions them from repurposed artifacts.
